For Covid19

I am extremely greatful there is even a medication to take for COVID. Paxlovid has made me feel better within days of testing positive. This is an extremely strong drug & the after taste could be better but I'm just happy ?? I'm feeling better. Could be worse right?

Best Covid19 Treatment

I’m 30 years old and high risk due to asthma and pneumonia history. I came down with Covid 2 days after a known exposure. I had a bad headache and chills and tested positive. I called my doctor right away and got this prescription but my husband couldn’t get it for me till the next day due to having to go to another town. My local pharmacy didn’t carry it. In that time I developed a fever and chills and extreme fatigue. I could not stay awake. I started taking paxlovid in the morning. I knew there’d be a gross taste. I had him get me mint gum too! During the course of my first day taking paxlovid I slept. I slept for over 24 hours besides getting up to use the restroom and take my pills. I had no appetite and felt horrible. The next morning I felt a million times better. No more fever, no more chills, no more aches, no more head fog! It made all the difference for me. I’m anxious to go out and see family. It’s Christmas Eve but I’m still a day away from finishing my paxlovid and still testing positive. Sad I’ll be missing out on Christmas but so glad I am not as sick as I was! I’ve had minor diarrhea and that is the only bad thing besides the bitter taste in my mouth. However, Covid can cause diarrhea too, so what’s the difference?

Successful Covid19 Treatment

I was into my second day of covid symptoms, 102 fever and violent coughing when I started Paxlovid. Within a few hours from taking my first dose I felt myself turn the corner as the severity of my symptoms began to lesson. I am now done with the medication and have tolerated it well. I hope I do not get rebound covid as I just finished the Paxlovid today. We shall see. I did experience the after taste which reminded me of the fumes from rubbing alcohol, but it was very tolerable. My husband has covid also, but he did not want the Paxlovid and I have to say he is not doing as well as me thus far.

Successful Covid19 Treatment

Having tested positive for covid my local hospital doctor recommended antiviral 5 day course of paxlovid. I have a health conditions so this is why this was recommended. I started to feel better on day 2 of taking the tablets., by day 5 I was completely well again & covid negative . Yes it does leave a bitter after taste but I rather that then end up in hospital or worse still .. it's a small price to pay in my own personal experience I would highly recommend. I took them after eating to avoid stomach issues and I was fine .

Best Covid19 Treatment

Tested positive with bad cold symptoms. Due to circumstances putting me at risk for severe disease, I took Paxlovid. The first day or two, I had mild stomach upset. The entire five days I had the bad taste in my mouth. I found sucking on mints, frequently brushing my teeth, and Tootsie Pop suckers did the trick! I tested negative the day after I finished my dosage. Unfortunately, after five days of testing negative, I tested positive today. Due to the risk of rebound, I was testing every two days. So far asymptomatic.
